MAME question

I can't install anything onto the work computer (via an installation program), but I CAN copy a folder over, and run it. I've been playing Perfect Cherry Blossom at work this way.

My question, is would I be able to get MAME and Dodonpachi or Battle Garegga or something running without the need to install? Could I just drag and drop a MAME folder and run it without any problems?

Ok, next question. What's the easiest way to go about obtaining ROMs?

Don't ask for roms dude.

Besides, they are way too easy to find to have to ask.
