I am going to look like a total moron here, but I was wondering about the exact specifics to Dimahoo's color changing.
Whenever I turn blue, i'm guessing my shot hurts red enemies more(and vice versa). I'm wondering if my regurlar shot hurts them worse whenever I turn colors, and not just my satellite character's shots?
May be a dumb question, but i'm asking it anyway, dammit.

Thanks much. What a sweet game. I'm surpised it isn't mentioned much around here. Also, it has one of the more memorable announcers(here comes the strong one!). I'm quite terrible at this game though.
I haven't played Ibara yet. Is it on the same level as Soukyugurentai, Dimahoo, and the Battle games?

Dimahoo is definitely a cool game. I really love the sheer insanity of it all. Still, it's not as addictive as Bakraid to me, dunno what it is.
I just recently bought a 2nd hand modded playstation 2 and a copy of Ibara (getting pretty rare, prepare to do some hunting if you want it!)
I really love the Battle games, and the Mahou games (havent really gotten into souky yet). Here's what I think about Ibara so far: very pretty gfx, just slightly too "arty" and polished perhaps for a true Raizing feel. Shame there's only two selectable ships, instead of 8 or 9. Gameplay feels slightly more similar to Garegga than Bakraid, i.e. more slow & steady like the former instead of the insane all-out assault of the latter.
Just playing these games for survival tho, so I don't know much about the score system.

Actually, depending on which "type" you select of the two ships (A, B, C or D), the ship's shot, bomb, and speed are affected, so in effect you do have 8 ships to toy around with. I think the specifics of each ship are covered someplace in the Strategy section.auryn wrote:Shame there's only two selectable ships, instead of 8 or 9.
I'd say that Ibara is far more similar to Garegga than it is to Bakraid, since it mimics its score system and rank system, and is not nearly as accessible to new or casual players as Bakraid is (I personally think it's even meaner than Garegga).Gameplay feels slightly more similar to Garegga than Bakraid
