Raiden fighters one problem

Post by Strider77 »

I recently got raiden fighters 2 and it works fine. I also got a raiden fighters 1 cart and tried to load it up on the RF2 mobo. No luck and everything is/are japanese.

I just get a screen that has some japanese and says 0478... I might be wrong on those numbers.

Anyone know what might be up?
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

So its not just the countdown for loading the rom whenever you swap carts on the mobo?

I'm not sure, it could be but it goes no where. It just has some japanese and then a number that never counts down.

I dunno if it's the countdown frozen or an error code of some sort.

Could it be region ?
All errors are intentional but mistakes could have been made.

For Strider77,

Trying reloading your Raiden Fighters 2 cart and find out what country region it is -- it should say so on the main title screen. That little clue will tell you if your newer SP1 mobo is either a Japanese or USA country version mobo.

As for your Raiden Fighters SP1 cart not being able to boot up properly on the 2nd generation SP1 mobo revision is odd -- I do have such 1st gen & 2nd gen SP1 mobos myself.

Any SP1 cart will work/boot up on either 1st gen or 2nd gen SP1 mobo setup assuming it's the correct country region as that of the SP1 game cartridge itself. Otherwise, the game will freeze up and not load up properly if it's the wrong country region...

You might have to get another SP1 mobo with the proper correct country region in order to boot up/play your RF-1 SP1 cart. If that doesn't work, then it could be a possible faulty SP1 cart to begin with in the first place..... ^_~

Hope this SP1 related info helps you out....
