Score a PC joystick or a PS2 controller adapter at a retail store. You'd be surprised the ones that have them. I'm sure there are also some good deals online of course.

Not a super expert on the specifics behind PC controllers, but most of them are pretty reasonably priced, and if you buy at a local store maybe you'll have the opportunity to return it if it fowls up, or even if you don't like it. I'd recommend starting a thread in offtopic or just picking one up at Walmart or some similar store where you can just throw it back in the box and say "it doesn't work" however true that is

I bought PS2=>USB (like this), and i think in best chose, because you can use all ps2 controllers like DS1/2, SSpan and even sticks.

Just a little bump to show my interest in joining team Downrank!

I am mostly used to Doujin Pc shmups but I hope the vast amounts of free time I'll probably have can undo my lack of skill!
