I went on a VC shopping spree and got all the TG-16 shooters I hadn't already bought for the VC (the only one I had was Super Star Soldier).
Anyways, one of which was obviously Dragon Spirits. It's a pretty neat game, like an upgraded version of Xevious with a cool setting, better music, and a powerup system.
I only have one, very major complaint with this game. The bosses need to have more than 3 hitpoints.
Dragon Spirits

Both have been released on Namco Museums for PSone
both have tate
Dragon Saber is on Namco Museum encore. Dragon Spirit is on another museum disc.
I actually considered tating my 50" lcd projection tv for Dragon Saber. Good thing I came to my senses real quick.
There is already a tate thread about these titles somewhere. I just thought I would point this out before you spend you hard earned cash on enferior ports.
