Hi is there any small differences between area 88 and un squadron apart from the text.

Also while im here the us/jap axelay. - thanks

Well i don't know anything on area 88 but i do no that there are differences in axelay like a long well pld demo at the start of the jap one and other minor stuff but i just can't remember .

Is there any websites going that compare games from different regions and show you all the little differences? - anyone?

Afaik the only difference in Axelay is that the invincibility cheat was removed from the Western iterations of the game.

It was removed from most Japanese cartridges too. It's found only in the earliest batch.

No there is more.

If i can remember correctly the demo at the start of the jap version lasts for ages with a jap player playing it well.

Plus there is a glitch on one of the bosses on the us version and i think one of the bosses in the jap version shoots blue lasers which are missing from western versions.

Area 88 anyone?
