I found it strange that I could access the site from work but not from home....why was that?

Some sort of DNS problem, apparently. The forum server itself never went down, and it's been kind of lonely this last day or so.

It was surprising and good to find that no posts had been lost. I thought the site had crashed.

I was a bit lost without the shmups forum-- how lame is that?

It was just a white screen for me for a couple of days as well. Sad too, i was really feeling like perusing the boards for the first time in a bit.

Not having the forums for a few days was really weird - I mean, I generally check them every day, even if I don't post for a few days.

This is the first time that I actually could access the (VERY quiet) boards while others couldn´t...

Anybody has any clue as to why some couldn´t and others could access the boards?
I find this very odd, especially since it didn´t appear to be region/country specific (thus I don´t think ISP specific either).
