Hi,
I need some help finding out the name of a shmup I played when I was a kid. I don't remember much about it, so there's only fragments of memories. It was a side scroller, and you controlled an airplane (probably WW2 era) and you dropped bombs. One boss, I remember, was a locomotive. I played this game in the late 80s/early 90s and enjoyed it alot
Sorry, there's not much to go on.
Thanks.

Could be P47, or perhaps SWIV?
Edit: Meant Silkworm, not SWIV

Steel Empire? That game has an airplane for one of the players, you drop bombs, and a train is one of the bosses.

The background on that first stage looks sweet. I think I'll give this game a try.
I'm so shallow.

Actually, P-47 has a Japanese PC Engine Hucard release. You might want to look into that if you have a hard time finding the PCB.

P-47 is a sweet shooter.
The sequel was P-47 Aces which is really like a manic shooter with a good bit of anime throw in.
