SSF saturn emu - playing Souky full screen

Post by auryn »

I'm currently trying the SSF saturn emulator to run Soukyugurentai, because in MAME the game seems to run at the wrong speed. (when I throttle it, it's too slow, when I de-throttle, it's too fast)

The game seems to run fine in SSF, but when I switch to full screen, the game gives me a full screen view with big black borders around it, instead of a real full screen. Does anyone here know if that's fixable? Radiant Silvergun has the same problem.

thanks for any suggestions.

Buy the original and the borders will magically disappear.

QFT.
Dunno what the prices are like over there, but around here,

Souky ($30 ish) + saturn ($25 ish) < $cost of single modern game.

This isn't some ancient, incredibly rare and expensive hardware you're talking about here . . .

If you're dead set on emulating, try the PSX rev. There are slight differences, but it has much better emulation.

Atleast the 24$ is definately worth it for a saturn. But buy a modchip spend your money on new shmups instead. That way you can make sure your money goes to the right hands.
