General youtube video request thread.
What games would you like to see (better?) videos/replays of on youtube? Maybe people can fill some requests here, just for you!
I was curious to see Blast Wind (lol) in action, but nothing of note was there. That's my request. Doesn't have to be any special superplay.

Blast Wind.

Not on the 'tube, but at least it isn't in super-pixellated-o-vision.
PS. It's not fantastic by any stretch, but good for a quick go every now and again. Hyper Duel is the superior Technosoft game.

I can chop a bit out of the replay if you want. Like I said though, game isn't really exciting by any stretch of the imagination (maybe 100 bullets in the whole game, all concentrated on the last boss LOL).Rob wrote:223.4 MB
This is why I like youtube. Don't really care about the video quality (can be attested if anyone's seen one I've recorded).

I have no doubt that Night Raid is decent gameplay-wise. It has an interesting scoring and weapon system, which is a plus.Dave_K. wrote:Although I haven't played it very much, I found it enjoyable, in a mindless play type of mood. Maybe if I tried to play it seriously it would suck? I like the music a lot too.
However, note my comment about "scooping out my eyes with a rusty spoon".
The game is fugly.
Full-on fugly.
Eyebleedingly fugly.
Stabbed-in-the-eye-with-a-hot-barbecue-skewer-coated-in-Tabasco-fugly.
Jamming-a-fork-in-your-eye-and-twisting-it-a-few-hundred-times-fugly.
I'm not sure what the artists were thinking, but they must have been on some pretty strong acid when planning out the visuals in this game.
So much so that I can't play Night Raid for more than five minutes without feeling the need to vomit all over my JPS2.

It's not the Worst Thing Ever, as the gameplay's not as ugly as the graphics, but it still feels very rushed to me...it could have been a lot better than it turned out, I think. Though the fact that the control is off (unless you play on a JPS1, apparently....even a JPS2 doesn't fix it) is perhaps what irritates me most about it.szycag wrote:(how bad could it reaaally be?)

First level (20 MB file). Vid encoded with x264. Pay no attention to the fact that I suck at Darius games, so it's strictly for demo purposes.BrianC wrote:I wouldn't mind seeing some footage of the Taito Memories II Darius II either.

Thanks for the video! It looks like the double screen version was used for the collection.Ghegs wrote:First level (20 MB file). Vid encoded with x264. It's a setting actually, I just used the far more eye-pleasing 8:3 setting. 4:3 is squished and ugly, it even feels like the craft controls slighly differently due to it.BrianC wrote:Thanks for the video! It looks like the double screen version was used for the collection.
