Just out of curiousity, what's the going price for a 'barebones' Semicom 2001 produced Wyvern Wings PCB?
And the same above question applied to a full complete Wyvern Wings PCB kit with original factory box + full sized U.S. arcade marquee?
Yes, I've seen such a complete kit with full sized marquee for sale in person but the price was too damned high at the time -- it was set on 'Free Play' at the California Extreme 2003 & 2004 shows for shmuppers to try out at their leisure -- awesome eye-catchy opening intro during demo mode... ^_~
One could say that Wyvern Wings really is a South Korean produced arcade shmup experience that tries to match up to Psikyo's arcade shmup series, Strikers 1945/Strikers 1945 II/Strikers 1945 III in terms of graphical art style, presentation, and gameplay mechanics but really is another arcade shmup title entirely with it's unique sense of flavor & quirks..... ^_~
Thanks in advance for your helpful advice & suggestions...

You got raped 'big time'! Paying $500+ for a Wyvern Wing PCB kit minus the factory box? WTF!? Surely, one could do a whole lot worse but still -- hey, it's your money and you're entitled to spend it anyway you like. Let's get one fact straight, it's not very likely that you'll recoup the exact amount of $$$ paid for it should you wish to sell it on the secondary arcade PCB market though... ^_~
Sacramento Amusements (based out of Sacramento, CA) was offering such a brand new & complete Wyvern Wings PCB kit with marquee & factory box for a $350.00 USD at the 2004 California Extreme show.....yeah, I definitely passed it up at that asking price point indeed (could've haggled a deal with the arcade dealer to see if he could've gone down a bit lower) -- oh well, no use crying over spilt milk, right? ^_~

Yeah, I wouldn't mind paying a cheapass two bucks for a complete Wyvern Wings PCB kit...anyone willing to sell one at that asking price? ^_~
I get the subtle impression/hint that Wyvern Wings really isn't worth paying 'jack shit' (because of lackluster gameplay), right? The Psikyo Strikers 1945 series arcade PCBs are ace... ^_~
If that's the case then, going with your advice will save ol' PC Engine Fan from going down that bankrupt route/path..... ^_~
Is it time to ditch the exspensive arcade PCB hobby and find something else to spend my hard-earned $$$ on? Nah, I wouldn't have it any other way as my local arcades just don't have/carry the arcade PCB shmup titles (and classic arcade puzzler PCBs as well) that I already have in my stash..... ^_~
