Is bonus DVD for Psyvariar 2 Ultimate Final region encoded?

As far as I know this is the only place to find a replay using the shot-type ship, so I am thinking of picking up a copy just to get my hands on the bonus DVD. However, I don't even have a PS2 so I am wondering if the bonus DVD will play on a standard DVD player? In addition, is it region free, or is it encoded to Japan?

Hi,

I'm PRETTY sure that its a region 2 (Japan only) DVD. I don't have it in front of me. I've never heard of a Kei superplay outside of that DVD.

Yup, it's region 2. It's plays fine in my all-region Sony player, so it's probably not Region Code Enhanced, but I get the regional restriction notice on my PC's DVD drive, which I have set to region 1.

Of course, this particular Psyvariar 2 Superplay DVD can be burned as a DVD-R or DVD-R+ (for long-term posterity as opposed to burning to a DVD-RW based disc format) and without Region code for play in any region DVD player would be the next best alternative solution (assuming if one doesn't have access to an all-region DVD player in the first place)..... ^_~
