What is a good score in MUSHA?
I can almost 1cc it, I'm assuming, because I get to what I am lead to believe is the final boss (Which is surprising, give my general lack of affinity for shmups). Its a big machine-type-thing, and the first form has the word "Core" with an arrow pointing to... well... the core. I don't have my score from when I did that, but I have a more recent score where I didn't get as far, and I was just wondering about where most people score in this game.

I was here.

discussing scores in musha.
haha.
ahaha.
ha.
also, musha is possibly the easiest shooting game ever so it's no surprise anyone can get to last stage on the first try

What it boils down to is that Musha isn´t a very score-centric game. I guess that once you 1cced the game, it´s time to move on. Playing for score is mostly done with newer shmups that have more refined scoring mechanics other than blowing up stuff (Chaining in Ikaruga and Dodonpachi, bullet grazing in Shikigami, milking and scenery bombing in Raizing titles for instance).
THE BULLETS ARE NOW DIAMONDS!

even games without a score system are better than most compile games for "score playing" because, frankly, the score system of most Compile games is broken.
I am the biggest fan of Compile, and even I admit to that.
The best scores are basically about how long you can keep on playing (or finish the game) and then how many lives you had when you killed the last boss.
So in the end, you 1-life the game, you get an absurd score.
It's not exactly "broken", there's a logic behind that.. but it's not much a score-centric system.
