I feel like I'm answering this question over and over again.Mortificator wrote:Nice find! Is Sonic Wings Special any different than this game?
Sonic Wings Special and Sonic Wings Limited both have the same concept (remixing the three original SW games) and share some graphics, but they are independent games with totally different stage layouts. Additionally, SWS has branching paths. You can chose which way to go twice during every playthrough. SWL has linear stage progression.

There is something very wrong with those videos. I believe they were recorded on super easy setting or something. On normal/default, there are twice the number of bullets on the fisrt stage alone. Even with my autofire circuit, I can't destroy that building on the right fast enough without it spitting out 2-3 long streams of fire.sven666 wrote:man, sonic wings is one boring-ass game
Wish I had a capture card to show, but this game is very manic, and hard as hell on normal/default settings (probably doesn't help that I suck too).
[edit]Ok thought this might be the case. In comparing the two roms I own, the Japan region is a ton easier than the Taiwan region. In fact, the Taiwan "Easy" setting is actually more difficult than the Japan "Hard" setting! Glad it wasn't just me sucking. If this game had a second loop, the Taiwan version is it.

It's just that you get to the question before I do... or else it would be me answering itHerr Schatten wrote:I feel like I'm answering this question over and over again.Mortificator wrote:Nice find! Is Sonic Wings Special any different than this game?

Sometimes I feel we both are the only guys in the world who owns a copy of this game.
