Do the Galaxian ships have names?
I'm planning out my shmup and would like to have some spaceships from other games crossover including the 3 Galaxian ships from Galaxian, Galaga, and Gaplus but I can't seem to find their names. Do they have names?

The old arcade flyers say your side is the Galaxians and the manuals of all the home ports say the aliens are, but it's always the aliens who're called Galaxians when they pop up in other games (like the fruit in Pac-Man). I'd go with that.
Yeah, your ship's called Galaxip when you start a game. I always thought that was a pretty stupid name. I vaguely remember hearing somewhere that the ship's real name is something else, but that's probably wishful thinking. And in fine Namco tradition, the fighter in Galaga was just called "fighter."
Cool shooter tribute: Pac-Man World was a pretty average platformer, but one stage is a vertical shooter. When the scrolling stops a cool remix of the Galaga theme begins and you fight the boss, a pumped-up version of the flagships named "King Galaxian." He even has the tractor beam.

The aliens you face are indeed the Galaxians.
There was some confusion as to which side had that name, but Namco basically says that it's the enemy that is called that.
As for the actual ship names for your foes, the only 2 that seem to have names are the multicolor one, the "Flagship", and the red one is the "Convoy".
Yeah, they werent real creative with that, lol.

So I guess the one from Galixian I have to call "Galaxip" and the one from Galaga I can call "Galaga Fighter". What about the one from Gaplus?
The flyer may give me answers. To TAFA I go.
