You'll get more credits for playing it longer, up to 9 if I remember correctly. Eventually you'll get freeplay, though by then you should be able to beat it with less than 9 credits. :)

It's to encourage people not to credit feed, it's for the best...

I agree that feeding endless credits is not always the best option but the reality is that I have so much games to play and not enough time to invest in them so I don't have time to master every one of them.

Thanks for the reply guys,

Then you have to ask yourself if it is really necessary to buy so many games, that you run out of available time to devote to them.
But anyway, good luck with BD. Great game.

I understand. I also have a huge mountin of games (video gaming is my only vice really) to play since I am always on a look out for a bargin or a rare find. Hence the reason why I got a really stupid amount of video games and no-were-to-actually-put-them!!

Perhaps I should invest in better storage space on concentrate on the games I already own?

I can totally emphathize here. I have 1,801 games, and they take quite a bit of space (no loose games here...I'm a serious collector...so I have to deal with boxes and cases...which means more space taken). As a matter of fact, our smaller bedroom of four is where my games call home. However, I do need to buy another bookcase or put up shelves. The games are starting to pile up a tad. Luckily, though, I've become a salty (as a girl who works for me calls my moods sometimes) gamer in my old age (42), and I utterly loathe most new games coming out...especially the American ones (sorry) and all of the popular genres that the lamers adore so much. That generally means less games coming in...but I still have no time to play the older ones I haven't gotten around to finishing in the first place. I keep telling myself I'm going to finally be able to have a bloody good time with these games one day when I retire...but most likely I'll either get arthritis in my hands, so I can't play games...or I'll drop dead one day before I retire. Oh, well.

Wonder how many of our tax dollars have gone to moving that collection all over the planet.

I am in the similar position -_-
I have possibly around 800 video games give or take (from NES to PS3/Wii/X360) and sometimes I cannot find enough time for dedicating major time of 1000+hours to master a game. I enjoy to play games however and a good evening is an evening spent playing a game even if it is for the time of 1 hour - it is the best hour of my day :D
So yes sometime i may put extra credit in a game for the sake of seeing what lies ahead - but no I cannot dedicate major time to one game and become a master of one game. I guess I am that fellow that isn't great at one thing(game)but rather decent at multiple things(games)

Hey, Paul...a few, for sure. :D I think I may stay put this time, so the federal government doesn't have to move me and this big pile of crap (an affectionate term for that many games...and, yes, it is a royal pain in the ass to move around) around any longer (I'm shocked I managed to NOT lose a game over the years...though a box did go missing for a few days when I moved to Hawaii...it contained all of my PCE HuCards...ouch). We'll see. However, it seems just like yesterday when I was celebrating game 1,000 (Super Tempo for SS, if anyone wonders). Will I reach 2,000? Anything's possible, I guess, given enough time. My daughter was born a month ago, so now I have two kiddos running (well...not the baby) around the house...and they take quite of bit of time. Gaming is definitely on the rear burner. Most of the time, I either have my DS or PSP on me (easier to lug around with the baby...and you can play anywhere). Oddly, I currently don't have any shmups stuck in either...FFIII and IV are in the DS and Tales of Eternia is in the PSP. Maybe I need to go look for some RPG forum instead?
