Found a Batsugun PCB

Post by Brian »

I figured I would post this here because you guys are the only people who will appreciate this. A local route operator here in town had a Batsugun board. He was not even aware of it. Anyway, he told me I can trade it with him because he would never put a "game like that" on a location. He wanted an 88 Games board from me for it. I thought it was a fair deal!

Nice find! Though it's a shame the bloke didn't have enough faith in it to stick it on. Have fun!

What makes 88 Games so much more crowd friendly? I never see Track and Field style games around... or did he want it for himself?

Yeah, I think the chances someone spending a few credits with Batsugun are higher than with 88 games.

I think he wanted it for himself. He loves Track & Field.

For Brian,

Is this "88 games-on-1 Jamma PCB" one of those generic Gamebox PCBs? Yeah, I've got one of those as well...basically DOS-Mame on a 2-layered PCB with Jamma edge connection interface. ^_~

Great trade deal for a Batsugun PCB if it's the genuine Toaplan produced deal and not a bootlegged one..... ^_~

No, it's a dedicated 88 Games Konami board.

For Brian,

So is your Batsugun PCB a genuine Toaplan one or not?

Oh, yea, it's the real deal, but it's the regular edition. Is there a way to rom swap it somehow with the SE?
