My first impression of this game is: the controls are awful. I know it's a stylistic thing, because the ship is on a string, but it results in a game that is less fun than if it actually controlled decently.

Barring the bad controls, it's an average shmup with some basic manic-style patterns on the bosses. I made it up to level 5 before getting fed up and quitting.
