Your Favorite Ship?

Like if there was some Ship .VS. Ship dogfighting or Twinkle Star Sprites thing,
but with every ship from every Shmup,
(power-up and weapon systems included)
what would you like to see?
And how would it compare or perform?

I'd like to see the Axelay ship.
It had 8 different weapons, with three selectable at a time during battle.
Straight Lazer for direct power or Needle Cracker for hard to hit enemies,
Macro Missles for Air targets or Explosion Bomb for ground targets,
and Round Vulcan for everytime else.
Plus it can move in two different dimensions,
and take weak hits without being destroyed,
even though it'll lose a weapon.

The other ships I'd see would be from R-Type with it's meleeing force pod,
Gradius with its support options and sliding power up system,
Philosoma with its four different selectable weapons and four different dimensions,
Einhander with its weapon stealing capability,
Radiant Silvergun with it's 6 different weapon attacks
and it's bullet absorbing Radiant Sword,
and Ikaruga with it's ability to absorb half of what is shot at it at a time.

That's all I can remember right now.

the 1p ship in Ikaruga

a bunch of the R-Type Final ships (the biggest draw of the game)

the flying pancake from strikers (I just love the name) and Shinden J7 (I had to look that up)

the border down ship

any of the 3 from Zero Gunner 2

that's all I think of right now

I didn't like the Ibara ship, I think Pink Sweets has some nice looking ships, but I need to play the game more (one of the ships definitely looks like the Saber Tiger)

Well usually I don't think as ships being likable past "Well this is the ship I'm best with in this game.", but I'd have to say off the top of my head that I really like Gain (C usually). I never do very well with him compared to Strawman or Maria but he is definitely my favorite.

Gains comes to mind, as does Golden Bat. I do like Lord British too, but not as much as Vic Viper in the long run.

I'd like to also see them fighting off against the Blanche from Cybattler, my favorite mecha based shmup. He has a gun AND a beam saber. How cool is that?

EDIT: OI! I just remembered. One of the ships I consider most powerful is the red ship from DoDonPachi. I don't know it's name but to fight off that thing in the style of Change Air Blade would be very hard in my opinion.

I might want to add that ship from Recca, but there aren't many pics of it aside from the cover art of the soundtrack.
