An update on this. It would not sync with any board combo I could throw at it, on a WeiYa 15-38k monitor. I exchanged it for another and same story. Be careful.

Someone on the neo-geo forum couldn't get it to work with any board. Sync problems. This the same problem you had Oxtsu?

So the video sync wire is not put through then?
Weird! Perhaps this can be swapped with another wire to get this to work!
So is this ebayer selling a badly produced batch then?
I'm thinking it can be fixed, but I'm not sure. Still Jamma is just wires, nothing needs to be boosted or something like that.
Thanks for the warning.

Ahh. 90% percent of the time I didn't even get that. Just a black screen and the most god awful noise i've ever heard coming from the monitor.

5% was scrambled like that. Come to think of it, I did get an image once with Ketsui but it seemed to be missing a color component and very dark (couldn't compensate w/monitor controls), so unusable.

I always got sound.

Another thing, the remote only has one button, not two like shown in the stock pic above. I found it to be quite touchy. Half the time when I'd press the button it wouldn't switch, just reset. I tried light and firm taps, but there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how it would react.

So, yeah, $50 and refund on the way. You get what you pay for nine times out of ten. I'm OK with being a guinea pig.

I see a few positive feedback in his ebay record for this item (only one commented that it 'works').
