Hori's FS3 for PS3

I found this stick for just over $30 and couldn't resist. I was disappointed to find that you can't use it with PS2 software on your PS3.

What I'm wondering is whether there is much of anything you can use this for at the moment-- apart from VF. I'm especially interested in whether it will work with downloadable games. Thanks for any help here.

It's a resounding yes that one can use the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 stick with downloadable PS3 demo games. Try it with the PS3 game d/l of Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection and get wood! Of course, it'll set you back at $19.99 for the game d/l on the Playstation Store site.

Plus you can use the HRAP-3 with a PC endowed with Win XP OS for use with Mame32, Mame, Raine, etc. & be sure to use the little PC utility program called "Joy2Key" to properly map the PC keyboard keys to the respective push buttons on the HRAP-3 itself..... ^_~

By upgrading your PS3's firmware to version 1.70, one can finally use either the HRAP-3 or Sega's Virtua HG Stick controller with PSX & PS2 games on his or her PS3 console...about damn time, hmmm? ^_~

The High Grade Stick will now work with PSX & PS2 games?!?!

EDIT:
I have confirm that the Virtua Stick High Grade is work with PSX games - I play some R-Type and I play some Raystorm! I don't play shoot them ups well with stick but was interesting none the less. (now I may enjoy my fight games with my stick - I play fight games well with stick and I have a few for the PlayStation 2)

I have downloaded the upgrade, and I'm happy to report that I can now play Gradius V with the hori stick. Also the upgrade seems to have changed the picture somewhat-- for the better.

Yeah, by this point, they've fixed up most of the awful upscaling algorithm for older games.
