I fourth (?) Neo Contra. It's really good even though it's on the easy side.

They have nothing to do with Ikari Warriors, but Operation Logic Bomb, Fortified Zone, and Ikari no Yousai 2 GB are related to each other. They do have some similarities in gameplay, though Fortified Zone and Ikari no Yousai 2 and non-linear. However, they are all overhead shooters and don't have the stealth aspect of Metal Gear.

Fortified Zone is awesome, if short, on the GB. Get it.

I like Total Carnage quite a bit. I'm not sure if that one counts, though.
