I wonder if this is not a glitch then, to indicate an invalid 1CC due to the aid of a second multicredit player? Think about it, if either of you reached the requirements for the 2nd loop, and continued playing in this fashon, you could ALL it rather easily by having player two continually bomb then die. It would be a low score, but report as an ALL on player 1 with a 0 at the end since you didn't continue.

this was my initial thought, but i've not seen other cave games do this.
anyone want to run the game in this fashion and see if the same occurs?
Finished the 1st loop of the game by using cheats in MAME. 1st player with one credit and 2nd with 2 credits. Doesn't happen. Maybe because its the International version?
I've got an International version DDP PCB and would like to check to see if this so-called glitch is replicatable.....
Sounds very intriguing for a DDP PCB such as yours, bay...
I remember a fellow shmupper saying that no two DDP PCBs are like in terms of clock sync rates -- one could be just a tad bit faster than another, hmmm.....
I recall once on a 2CC gaming session of USA version of Capcom/Romstar's Sidearms PCB back in 1988, at the end of the game's eventual conclusion, my highest score was displayed twice in both the first and second high scores slots with same intials even though I played it only once through...to this day, I've wondered if it was a glitch, bug, or what? I can recall that it (Sidearms double score post with just a 2CC) happened to me only just once in the many gaming sessions with it (back in the day)... ^_~
However, since I don't have a USA version of Sidearms PCB but rather a JPN version of Sidearms PCB, would the above double score post Sidearms glitch/bug be possible to recreate again?
Another thing that's kind of strange is that the second loop of the game cannot be entered in a 2 player game. Or is it the cheat's fault I used in MAME?
