DDP DOJ/Espgaluda/Ketsui Image question
When I play Ketsui it doesn't fill the screen, as shown in the pic. Would I experience the same issue with Espgaluda and DDP DOJ PCBs? I'm just asking as they are on the same hardware.

Yea, it's the same on all the hardware. It's supposedly IGS hardware so maybe those don't fill the screen either? It's quite annoying however, when you play the ports on PS2 they actually overfill the screen (in full TATE mode). A good alternative if you're tired of the small PCB image though.

If you can reach the service mode of your TV, you may be able to modify many settings, like picture size.

By the way, it looks like that is a Sony monitor, right? You might try looking for the code here if you haven't already: http://www.agoraquest.com/aboutus.php

It's just a cheap Ferguson I bought 5 years ago. I managed to find a service manual for it and I've totally buggered the imagebrumma wrote:By the way, it looks like that is a Sony monitor, right? You might try looking for the code here if you haven't already: http://www.agoraquest.com/aboutus.php

I'm going to admit defeat and just buy a new TV

Isn't the 1084S a 14"PC Engine Fan X! wrote:A cheap-ass Commodore Amiga monitor works wonders for playing arcade PCBs on...the one to aim for is the 1084S series (as it has all the required end-user adjustment controls)... ^_~

I'm so used to playing on a 21" that I couldn't make the downgrade!

Yes, that ol' Amiga monitor is a 14" but it outputs at a razor sharp analog RGB 15 kHz horizontal sync rate...can't get any better than that. ^_~
Or perhaps a Sony PVM series analog RGB monitor (with bigger and more palatable viewing sizes to behold) would be more suited to your taste when it comes to playing arcade PCBs on?
