I personally do not like the box art AT ALL but it won't prevent me from getting that port. I don't even own a 360 at this time and probably still won't on the SnR american release date but I'll get this anyway. I find it simply being a matter of encouraging the initiative so maybe more shmups end up on our shores. Cheers!

Sorry as a long time Nethack player I could not resist lol.
Yeah like tuoma said, nice packaging is all well and good but I am more "bovered!" about the game itself remaining in tact hopefuly with some cheesy CoSII voice acting!

I just picked it up and played a round. They left the language in Japanese with subtitles for those who don't know yet so lots of high pitched voices during battle! The music is kind of Border Down-ish.
Unfortunately they haven't released the picture packs or xbox wallpaper yet. Does anyone know if or when they will?

To everyone whining about the box art, I have this to say: (Taken from my GameFAQs post)
And seriously, we gotta get some XBox Live games set up at some point, this game was MADE for VS mode, let's face it.[/quote]
To everyone else? Who's loving this? I know I am! ^_^You whiners really piss me off. We should be thankful we got this game PERIOD.
"WAH WAH WAH, THE ART SUCKS!" Who gives a crap?! They didn't even change the game, just the cover art. And furthermore, they didn't dub it, so there's no reason for you idiots to be complaining.
BE. HAPPY. WE. EVEN. GOT. THE. GAME.

Double quoted for truth. Besides, as far as "bad covers" go, just remember: It could be worse.ForteMP3 wrote:You whiners really piss me off. We should be thankful we got this game PERIOD.

Thanks for checking. I'll get it anyway. It's been so long since I thought about this game, I can't even remember whether it's a vert with tate. I assume not, otherwise there would be tons of discussion here about whether it has a tate option.kccttzj wrote:I double checked at Game Stop and they have it for $59.99.

The arcade version was horizontal(YOKO or whatever). The Xbox 360 version is horizontal widescreen.professor ganson wrote: It's been so long since I thought about this game, I can't even remember whether it's a vert with tate. I am finally get to try it out. Is much fun so far (and I don't even know what I am doing yet
) Still learning.
I just finally figured out how to change the buttons for my stick (Yes I know I am dedicated pad guy but d pad on 360 controller is that bad I rather use a stick
)
My game tag is:
Sonic R 0
(thats a zero at the end)
Can this replace Twinkle Star Sprites as competitive game
Gonna have to let the Great Lakes folks give it a try

Well, see you guys online later today!
Oh yeah, there's no real need to post high scores in this game as there's already a database built into the game.
Was too busy playing this game with other people earlier. You didn't get your copy early enough! D:jp wrote:I've got it. I tried playing some ranked matches but none could be found.![]()

I am playing with the DOA4 stick. I am trying to figure out a button combination that is work for me.professor ganson wrote:Are people playing with the standard controller? How is that working out?
I feel that the d pad on the 360 controller is junk - the most worst ever.
I wish to be home right now playing some more! I cannot wait to leave work and head home for some War Tech action!
