Pc shooter

I am looking for a verticle scroller like the old dos game raptor. I would like it to be free and not shareware... do these exist? (I can't get raptor to work 100% on XP because of sound settings, if I enable sound blaster the game slows down).

Could it have been Demon Star? That's a pseudo-sequel to Raptor. Also, try Tyrian 2000 if you get the chance. It works well with DosBox and is 100% legally free. Great game.

I found the game I meant: Star Monkey. Great game unfortunately only 3 levels...

This one is not really like raptor but still pretty good looking and plays like a charm, also vertical.

Be sure to try Ultra Assault too, that plays just like Star Monkey and is also by Smallrockets
