Installing Japanese PC games on your American computer

I just obtain Shikigami no Shiro EX jap for the computer. And I want to know one thing: Can you install it without any problem? I got japanese text installed on my PC. Can anyone of you help me out?

Once I had Japanese language installed and enabled as "non-unicode," I was able to successfully install all 3 Shanghai Alice shmups after I bought them...not sure if the case is the same with Shikigami, but for me that was the main step.
