Thanks for passing this along! And I'd love to hear if people on this board agree, disagree, and/or are surprised by these rankings.

Yet more evidence (as if we needed any more) that TFV deserved a sequel.

Batsugun must have not sold well to be well down the list. FFS its one of the best shooters on the system.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Too many adventure games on that list to credit it.

If I had to guess, I'd say that list was made in 98, maybe 99.
TFV is good and all, but definitely not number 1.

And according to that list, Eve Burst Error is the #1 Saturn game?
I'll have to see what that game's about.

Its an Adventure/mystery game. Kinda like Snatcher or Rise of the Dragon.

At any rate, the list was made by people that could actually play the RPGs and Adventure games... so its obviously not going to cater to us non-nihongo speaking fools. ;)

And I'm guessing Langrisser Tribute came out after this list was made. Its definitely cool to see the Langrisser stuff making the list though.

jp professing his love for it around the internets must have sparked that off.

good game, yea, but it's not 'all that'. It's a solid 7-ish.

That would be so funny if true. Maybe I should try arbitrarily swearing by some random game and see what happens.

Well I, like jp, love Blast Wind. I feel it's a really underrated shmup. And it has one of the best Technosft soundtracks ever. I just wish that the sound effects didn't overpower the BGM so much. The same goes for Hyper Duel (Saturn mode). I like hearing the BGM loud and clearly.

Combine the Soukyu's and Raizing might be on top (how many votes is the number 1?).

Of course, in a just universe that spot would belong to Garegga, but...
