OK, this may be a really dumb question, but how do I go about changing the configuration in MAME to default to the english version of Souky?
I looked in the DIP switch config, and everything is labeled as unknown? Anybody know which DIP it is?

Re: Terra Diver in MAME?
On a real Sega ST-V Titan motherboard setup, one either has the original Japanese Bios version or the USA Bios version. The Menu Screen appears when Service button is pressed. There isn't an option to change to the "English version" of a Japanese ST-V game cartridge unless one has direct access to such an English Bios verision ST-V mobo (even though both Japanese & English Bios versions are already included on such a ST-V cartridge itself).jpolz wrote:OK, this may be a really dumb question, but how do I go about changing the configuration in MAME to default to the english version of Souky?

Now if one had access to a USA Bios Region ST-V mobo, with a proper multi-Bios ST-V chip mod, one could switch between either JPN or USA Bios settings to play the respective ST-V game cartridge in that language setting. One can't do this with an original JPN Bios ST-V mobo setup though..... ^_~
