Capturing video from an Astro City cabinet

Hi guys. First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm playing a JAMMA game on an Astro City cabinet, and am looking to show off my skills (or lack thereof). I've searched the forum to learn what you guys use for video capturing, but couldn't find a similar situation. What's the best way to go about this? I'm not afraid of spending money.

Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

...and for what it's worth I'm working on a non-Ikaruga double play.

Thanks! Believe it or not I read those topics in my search, but they don't quite answer my question. Actually, I'm thinking I did a rather poor job of phrasing my question... The main thing that I'd like to know is how best to split the video signal for capturing. It looks like this would be the brute force solution:

But of course that's not in stock. Though I do have a j-rok I could gut out of a supergun. Which bring me to this post:

Pretty pricy, though.

Looks similar to the j-rok (http://www.jrok.com/hardware/RGB.html) but more expensive. But you still need something to "capture" the play.

Personally I'd just hack the jamma harness myself to extract the RGB/Sync, and use a capture board or dvd recorder.

Would you be able to give some details on how to do this? I actually built my supergun thanks to a guide, so I think I might be able to do it with a bit of instruction.

Wow, thanks a lot! That looks exactly like what I need. If I've read things correctly, it looks like it will split the sound as well.
