I've got a PS2 network adaptor that I used on my old v4 PS2, but is redundant now that I've got a slimline v12 console with one built in. I'm thinking of selling the old network adaptor on eBay, but I'm worried by the fact that the Network Access Disc included with the adaptor uses a unique access code as part of the device's mandatory registration procedure. I've already used this access code when I did the online registration. So my question is, if I sell the adaptor, would the buyer be able to use that same access code when they register it online, or is it invalid now? If it's invalid, would they be able to request a replacement access code from Sony? And if that's possible, would they be able to request a replacement code without a store receipt for the adaptor?
I'd really appreciate an answer to this, as I don't want to sell someone a useless brick.
Question about used PS2 network adaptors
Re: Question about used PS2 network adaptors
I can't answer your actual question, but it's not a useless brick, because it can still serve the other purpose (for HDloader).Daigohji wrote:

Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.
