It's a manic one. There are 5 ships to choose from: A lite version of the Vic Viper, the 3 ship types of the Donpachi series and another one with a lethal charge shot (Silver Hawk maybe? It sould have been R-9 in my opinion...). Very nice bullet patterns! It even has bullet lag!!

I've had this one for a few years now. I never invested serious time with it since I could never get it to run full-screen.

I don't know why, but it for some reason reminds me of the original DOS Silpheed... even though it's nothing like it.

That first boss was fun to fight. This game is like an amped up NES title.

I found it to be something like a C64 title or very early DOS. however, it's MUCH more complex than anything of that era EVER was, not to mention this stylistic approach can overwhelm the mind due to how the colors are used. the red-white-yellow-blue bullets are enough to TOTALLY confuse me at points, and in many cases I became very disoriented by it as well as wondering why I wasn't having a seizure from all of this.
Even with that glaring flaw, I found it to be absolutely incredible and very addicting. the DDP ships were a very nice touch, but I LOVE the last ship's charge cannon to death for it's medal-milking opportunities. did I mention the score just skyrockets in a very short time at points? managed to make it to the level 4 boss before it simply became too difficult to keep up with due to said seizure-inducing bullet colors.

I think i just hit alt+ent to get it to go fullscreen. That's usually the fullscreen command in most programs.

I still wonder whether the last ship is Silver Hawk or some other one. Any ideas?
