I would definitely invest in a TF222 Shirt.

flat design, not very clever, the TF ships are very well designed, why not include it?

I'm in - love the bright blue on white, though I have one request - while the slash on the left chest area is cool, the 'Thunder Force' could be a little less wide, as it seems to extend to the right too much. This makes the shirt and the person wearing it look bigger than they are.

Yeah, the design should be shrunk to 1/3rd of the current size. Otherwise, I'd buy it.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Being the huge TF fan that I am I think I want it, but what's the 222 all about? Am I missing something?

Same here; perfect design, IMO! Would it come in XXL?

Wow, lots of reaction to this one.......

Looks like I won't be able to please everybody, just like with everything else in life (why should shmups be any different?). The first design had a ship on it, but it was removed after feedback, so it looks like it's going to stay with just the logo. As for resizing the print, I need to play with that a bit......I like it large, but perhaps I'll bring it down a bit.

Sizes can go up to XXL, all that will be worked out in the pre-order phase. Pre-order is just so I can see what sizes to buy, and no money will be required until I actually get the shirts in. More details will be on Shoot the Core, including a much easier to use Paypal cart system soon. Give it about another week before anything official yet though.......

FRO - the 222 logo is all over TF 5 - the instruction book, the wallpapers, the Gauntlet ship......I can't believe you missed it! I don't think it showed up until the 5th game though, so if you've only played up to 4 on the Genesis, you'd be clueless......

but what's the 222 all about?
It's in TF5 system settings.... it's used in the artwork. I'd have to play the game to say exactly where but it's there. I think that was the number of the squadron that the chick pilot in the game is a member of?

Yes, guess this makes the chance of it really getting printed much bigger, right!? :D

Still want one, big or smaller logo won't matter to me. As long as it's there and the shirt's black... ;)

Well, I've only played 2-4, hence my cluelessnes. I'm in, as long as they aren't too pricey or they aren't super-thin silk-screening that will wash out in a year's time. Cool design.

Why not take advantage of both sides of TF-V T-Shirt?

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

For the allett,

Did you boot up the PSX version of TF-V and load up the TF-V logo screen with the "Thunder Force 222" JPEG (from the "Omake" file)? It looks very similiar to it (except the "TF-V 222" logo features more tiny text shown in the built-in art gallery of TF-V)..... ^_~

Nice TF-V t-shirt design -- will it have some kind of design or Thunder Force ship on the back as well? (Might as well make the most of t-shirt real estate here by using both sides, eh?) ^_~

Ok, I edited the design a bit - what do you think, include the Gauntlet or not?
