shienryu explosion
Took me a bit by surprise last night.
(I'd previously only played it a couple minutes) I loaded it up and got to the third level, died, then decided to practice level 3 a few times. Next run through i got to stage 7.... wtf?! I'm a pretty averagly skilled gamer so surely theres someting fundamentally wrong with this game?!
I found the game to be quite uninspiring also, with little variety, although i had the sound lowered quite a bit so that might have effected my enjoyment... THe graphics did actually look nice though, and the weapon system in my opinion works really well. Being able to make fine adjustments to your ship placement while avoiding complex bullet patterns is made easy by the high power shot button which slows your ship down drastically...
meh... i dun regret buying it though

Know thy enemy attack pattern.
I think the only things wrong with the game are that A) it's too easy and B) the scoring system could've been a bit more fun. Maybe give a multiplier based on the stars collected or something, in addition to their value changing depending on how you destroyed the enemy.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Remember to set it to difficult, it does make a difference.
