Vertical or Side-Scrolling shooting which do you like?

That is ***exactly*** my feeling. I normally ignore hories but gave Progear and Blazing Star a go the other night. I have had BS for 8 months and never put it on for more than 2 mins before but its pretty fresh!

Have you ever played Philosoma? I gave it a go last night, and just for the 2 first levels, the game gave me something like 7 or 8 different point of views, one being from BELOW my ship, and the other from the FRONT of my ship.

I wonder what comes in the later levels :D

Now I can't just choose what kind of shmup I like the most. If I have to shoot stuff and dodge bullets, I am all on it :D
