ESPrade Free Play

Post by schild »

I did a search and couldn't find information on it. I downloaded the PDF of the instructions, but ya know, Japanese (harhar). Anyone know how to turn on free play? I've dug through the service menu, but it seems like they made it nonsensical on purpose.

I've got the internationa. version of the PCB and there's no setting for free play. There is one for 2 credit per coin which... doesn't relly help at all.

Is there anything wrong with putting 25 credits in to begin with?

I don't doubt your frustration, but chill man.. Its just a game.

Do you get pissed that you need a key to start your car everytime, or you have to turn the faucet to make water come out? Life sucks.

Dangun Feveron does have "Free Play" option select

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

Now Cave's arcade shmup PCB by the name of Dangun Feveron (or it's "International Version" under the name of 'Fever SOS' PCB), does have a built-in selectable option to turn on Free Play mode. ^_~

The Dodonpachi PCB never had "Free Play" option either besides the later released ESP.ra.de PCB as well... ^_~

Words. Totally agree.

Well, you could connect the coin wires to a button, this should slove the problem.

It's funny because it's true.

You've got to question people who think they're time is that important that reaching down and pressing a credit button warrants them getting rid of a game. Methinks some people overvalue their own self importance.
