Thanks, no way I'll pay 120$, wth are they smokin. I'll wait for better deal, might as well pick Soukyugurentai now though.Ceph wrote:Blast Wind is more expensive, a complete one with spine will cost you around $100. Soukyugurentai is a lot more common than Blast Wind and goes for $30-50.
EDIT: Wow, there are two Blast Winds for 120+ on ebay now...

Yes, wait it out - occasionally you do see Blast Wind go a lot cheaper.
I picked up Blast Wind for $40 on ebay just before Christmas. I'd been waiting to get that again for years - I had it and played it to death a long time ago while I was a student, but when it became a little more valuable I cracked and sold it to get some cash, which I later regretted of course. But that's being a student for you! Very pleased to get it back again now though and it's actually a lot more fun than I remembered.

It's sad, because Blast Wind has been sold twice for BIN prices of $17 on Ebay in the last 3 years. Honestly, it's more surprising why it wasn't more expensive back when it always sold for $20-40 years ago in the few occasions that it popped up.
It's hard to locate a copy though, so it's been raised to ridiculous prices. You can blame buyers willing to pay extravagant prices for that. But for that amount, you may as well get Hyper Duel, which has much more solid gameplay. And screw the ripoff Ebay store prices; Ceph, you know better than to mention that nonsense...

Blast Wind in triple digits!?!?
I got mine a few years back (with Vampire Savior) for $55 shipped! I even have the spine
Either way I like the game, I am Tecno Soft fan addict!
Hyper Duel is also great Tecno Soft product on the Sega Saturn! Great games demand great amounts of cash - like Radiant Silvergun and Border Down!

i own Blast Wind and it's not anywhere near being as good as those prices dictate. hyper duel is WAY better and can see higher prices for it.... glad I got hyper duel when it 1st came out.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Well I guess this is because nowadays people only made play once and throw away games.LSU wrote:So really, why exactly are these both so expensive / rare these days? Was the print run really that small..? (Any sources to find out such things..?)
