I have some shmup questions

Ok, there was a shmup that i saw on this website last year for xbox live.
It came out during the holidays.
I heard by a friend that square is makeing a shmup for the ps2.
Does anybody know if ketsui is ever going to get ported to one of the systems. How about espgaladu 2 is that ever going to get a port.
Please don't tell me to google becuase this information is known only by shmup players.

i believe i can answer these questions.
1: the game you refer to is called "santa smash HD" it was only available for a limited time on XBLA. if you have a data transfer cable, you could rip it off of a friends 360. but dont ask me how.
2: i think you're talking about FF7: shoot the crisis core. its not entirely a shmup, as it has a few other mini games mixxed in it. my uncle (who works at square) says it plays like a mix between einhander, DDR, and mario kart(!) needles to say, expectations are "high".
3: ketsui is put on hold till much much pork (cop cop robber in english) is ready. one game at a time for cave!!!

I guess we will have to wait on treasures project. I remember a post about it on this site a while ago. There are so many other shmup questions i have. I'll just have to wait and see what transpires.

My dream is to go to tokyo someday. I would love to settle down with a asian woman. I am italian and ever since i was small boy i have loved videogames. Shmups really are my favorite.

Darius, let me give you a few tips.

This is a shmups forum. Making a thread to just randomly talk about shmups is stupid. If you have specific questions, find threads already made where they would apply.

Making a thread about some obvious topic that has been talked about ad nasauem is rude. You may not know if it's been brought up or not, but assuming that it hasn't dawned on any of the dozens of regulars here to talk about Ketsui ports or future shooters is again, very rude.

When you're out and about and you happen to overhear a couple people talking about something you're interested in, do you immediately jump into the conversation and start saying whatever comes to mind? Joining a forum is like coming into the middle of a coversation. Listen for a while. Feel it out. See what people are currently discussing and join in.

I don't know if you act like this as a joke or if you genuinely have a learning disability, but you sound like you're almost ten years old. Acting like you're being attacked for "just asking questions" is a childish, unreasonable reaction. "Can't we just talk about shmups?" wtf does that mean? It's shmups dot goddamn com, man. That's all that happens here.
