Updated 4-13-07 PSP "Power Manga" shmup d/l + more

Here's another arcade 2-D shmup title called "Power Manga" ver0.80 for the PSP. It helps to have a PSP with firmware 1.50 (or at least one that's capable of running that firmware). I'm not the author of this particular PSP shmup title but am just sharing with our shmup community, the good news... ^_~

Whether or not this "Power Manga" shmup title is as good as "PSP rRootage ver.4", "Callisto ver.2" or even "R-Gear" (the only maniac-styled shmup released) homebrew PSP shmup titles remains to be seen..... ^_~

After d/l a third kick-ass PSP sc-fi themed shooting title game called "Space Escape", it plays just like the classic Space Harrier shooter (or the original Iridion shooter for the GBA for that matter). One can choose from a bunch of different skins before heading on down to the actual game session. Autofire needs to fixed a bit as so not to lose all your ammo energy is my minor observation. One can zoom & rotate the cool polygonal spacecraft with the many skins to choose from...there's even a tribute skin to the famous "General Lee" car from Dukes of Hazzard TV series. (I thought that was a unsual skin for such a spacecraft fighter -- definitely NOT my kind of taste.....) ^_~

Space Escape does have a very nice 60fps framerate -- that is the highest benchmark to strive for in such a homebrew PSP game... ^_~
