Let's say a sequel is made to your favorite shooter...
... and it totally rocks except for the fact that the game's developer decided that the soundtrack had to be all done by one of these horrible 80's artists. The question is -

I agree. That would be some hot, funky shooting--Especially if it was actually the 80s stuff (although Musicology isn't bad, or anything).Rob wrote:Prince, because he doesn't belong on the list.
I don't think that I'm familiar with all of those, but I do think that some Prince would actually go decently with smooth moves and saucy bullets.
Edit- No, it's not because I drive by where he lives every month or so.

I voted for C+C Music Factory. Although I'd rather have Technotronik. I'm almost surprised that C+C's music wasn't used for a shmup or some other game.. (no, 'make my video' doesn't count).
edit - oh yeah, you need to have 2 Unlimited, Snap, Haddaway, and LA Style on there too. Battle of the cheesy ass house beats!

Prince.
It's a sad thing that so many don't realize how skilled this guy really is.
Him touring with people like maceo parker and parliament should vouge for that.
Dubbed as one of the best guitar players alive, and he's a great singer, awesome dancer, plays the drums and keyboard and writes his own music. And his clothes, oh man. Prince is really something, I think he'd compose something really weird and nice for the lot of us, why not make a shooter totally based on Prince (okay, I might be pushing this too far now:))?
...and ofcourse, Micheal Jackson doesn't belong on that list either, that's like one of the best 80's careers ever right there ;)
