BATRIDERRRRRR!!!!!
wow, i got this pcb on friday and it. is. awesome!! i cant believe i havent played this one earlier. so far, my high score is 1.18m and i can get to the 3rd boss without dying (all dips set to default). also, i love how many different ships there are and that a boss-rush mode is available on the pcb!
so....
what other great raizing games have i missed? or is this the best one?

check here for more Raizing titles.
And as far as I am concerned APB is by far the best of their titles that I´ve played. Though as Sven666 mentions, Bakraid and Garegga are awesome too.
I´d stear clear from Souky though.

IMO it takes both the best and worst things about Raizing's stuff in general and cranks both to the umpteenth power: lots to love, but also lots to frustrate. I tend to be in the minority on that one, though, as most around here tend to swear by it, so if you like it better than I do I'm in no position to argue too much, heh heh.sven666 wrote:it is the best one.

You have to purchase Battle Bakraid next! I'd say its even more accessible/enjoyable than Batrider. The production values (especially the music) is top notch. You can safely play for the 1CC ignoring rank. Only when you start playing for score, does it fall short with its arcane suicide to prolong the multiplier timer. My least favorite is Garegga, it just never clicked with me, or I never get excited playing it.

I actually like it better than Batrider... but i dislike Batrider because of it's theme and feel. It's odd because i pretty much like everything else by them.subcons wrote:Really? I rather like Souky, always have. Definitely different from their other titles, but it's at least worth owning IMO. The Saturn port is pretty decent.Super Laydock wrote:I´d stear clear from Souky though.

How is this option selected? Is that the default setting. I've acquired a brand new Korean B version recently and have yet to clear the whole game.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:From the Korean Bios region "B" version Batrider PCB, one can read all the different ending stories for the in-game characters in all-English text as a bonus..... ^_~

no, its definitely Bom Ber. I suppose it would be better spelled out as Bome Burr.Never_Scurred wrote:more like BOMBER LEVAL LOP

Your Korean "B" version Batrider is already an all-English language game...it's when you finally beat the last end-stage boss, does one get to see the ending story depending on the character(s) you chose at the beginning of the game. ^_~
It is with the Japanese "A or B" boards that the ending stories are presented in Japanese..... ^_~
Someone here in the past has mentioned something about a rare Taiwan version PCB of Batrider that is entirely presented in English. I've never seen it and can't say if it exists or not..... ^_~
