even if ive mastered a shmup i will always still die (even on the first stage) by just some random bullet. thats how terrible i am

i have about 50 shooters for the megadrive, ps1 and ps2, dreamcast and gamecube and guess what i suck at them too

no matter how hard i try i can only master the first few levels of most shooters then fail miserably on the rest.

Its quite funny I find 1-4 to 1-5 about my limit. Sometimes I even get to 1-5 on one life, but it all goes downhill then. I think my eyes just hurt after the 15 minutes it takes to get there.

That video of 1-6 boss was nothing to be ashamed of, i'd be proud of myself for getting that far.

All I did was panicbomb everything to get that far XD

The bullets in DDP are so slow that I actually have time to react and decide whether to bomb or not.

Ikaruga, Chapter 2. The botched box section doesn't bother me, nor does the chain break on the bonus enemies... but that death/energy release bugs me at least once a day. I still laugh at it, though.
