SDF Macross on MAME

Post by ST Dragon »

I remember playing this on the Arcades back in 1993.
It's one of the best vertical shmups I've played, but the sound hasn't been emulated yet since 2000!

What's wrong with it?
Anyone know if there is any progress by the mame devs on this problem?

Why don't you ask on the MAME general/serious message board, H2O POLO?

Because he'd get a slap for asking a question that's been asked dozens of times before :)

Some 16-bit NMK games have an unknown sound CPU with internal, as yet undumpable, rom. Macross is one of them.

Is NMK a game developer or publisher? I thought Macross was by Banpresto?

What other Arcade games have the same "Undumpable" Roms, thus featuring the same sound problem?

Thanks in advance.
