Do you need a credit card for paypal? I think you just need a bank account. PPP, seriously, get a paypal account, it can be used for so many things...

If you get a checking account with a debit card, you can use it with PP as if it were a CC, as long as it has a Visa or MC logo. Just make sure you have enough balance to cover your purchases in advance.

If you have a debit card, you can use it as a credit card for online purchases -- no PayPal required. But definitely PayPal is so convenient it's almost a necessity.

Right. It's just that without a checking account, it gets treated as CC and some ebay sellers won't accept it, since PP requires you to upgrade to a paid account to do so. If you pay with checking, or paypal balance, it's another story, though.

There's actually a possibilty that you can use paypal using NO card at all... Thing is, you need someone to send you money from their own paypal account, rather than their crecdit/debit cards.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I have no cash and no money in my paypal account, if someone wants to pay him for me I'd be willing to part with some games...preferably saturn dracula x (which is normally worth $60-$70)
