Yeah, when I lived in Hirakata, the Sanko supa (supermarket) I frequented had the catchphrase:

"Better food at lower cost to your life."

tacked on to each receipt. Always caused a chuckle...

As for the Karous picture caption, you can rest assured it's just an example of Japanglish. The REAL mystery is why they left out high score saves on the recently released DC version...
