Where did Lord British originate
The answer might be under my nose but I can't seem to find it. Where did Lord British originate?

I can't imagine where else they took it from.
Also, Richard Garriott has a trademark on Lord British. This is why Gradius Gaiden in the North American release of Gradius Collection removed the announcer's naming of the ships and changed the graphics on the ship select screen from "Lord British" to "Lord B."

You wasted 20 dollars because they changed the name of a ship?Turrican wrote:bVork wrote:I can't imagine where else they took it from.

Like the five Gradius games were 100% perfect on the PSP anyway.

Well...yes. Seeing as there's a JPN version which has the awesome "Lord British!" speechline and it's completely import-friendly. If I knew, I would've waited for a Gradius Portable to pop up on ebay.angrycoder wrote:You wasted 20 dollars because they changed the name of a ship?
Sorry. Lord British has always been my favorite ship, you know.
