Lol shmups and roguelikes are the only games I play and I am developing a shmup and a roguelike but I NEVER got the idea to mix them together... thx for pointing this out

Can someone explain what is meant by "Roguelike"?

I enjoyed it. It's a bit too easy to accidentally go through doors which can get quite annoying. I didn't find myself dodging many bullets either since your attack wipes out most projectiles and you can buff up your shield quite a bit.

I didn't care for the gameplay.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.

A little bird told me the game will be open sourced fairly soon. You should be able to compile it yourself then.
