Touhou Project

Hello,

I'm new to the forums but been visiting this site for like a month. I seemed to now have a deep fondness for shmups than before which was none.

Anyways to the topic. I recently discovered a shmup called "Touhou Project" but I don't understand what exactly the Touhou Project is. I'm sure someone here has heard of it.

In general, it´s a series of Doujin shmups done by a single guy called ZUN. His most well-known games are Perfect Cherry Blossom and Imperishable Night. Type in those names in YouTube and you´ll discover a ton of replays on it. Well, this is pretty much where my knowledge ends - but you surely will find some experts on those games here

I saw the video on youtube. Man that's insanity. And I though Battle Garegga was hard.

Touhou games on normal difficulty are not that hard, actually. They do have a couple of selectable/unlockable harder modes, so maybe you saw vids of one of those.

I have every Touhou game up to this date, and I only play them all on Lunatic mode, quite challenging, but I still think even Mushi's maniac mode is harder.

I ordered both Perfect Cherry Blossom and Imperishable Night from there a couple of days ago. They haven't mailed me with a bill yet. I thought they'd have contacted me by now....I'm getting desparate to have the full versions
