How do I access the shmups.com archive?

I was wondering if there was a way to go back and read posts from the old forum... or is all of that dust now? I'd like to retrieve some stuff from there if it's still possible.

At the moment it's just gone.

Akira's been trying off and on to get a backup of the old forum but without much success. Lemme see if I can find that thread...

Edit: found it.

Ah man. I've had a harddrive meltdown myself so I was hoping to salvage some stories and old bits from there, but so it goes. What a shame.

Hmmm... Do you still have that Butter and toast thing you did on the old forums? That was pretty cool. :)

Well I thought the Bear guy (that's what he was called, right?) was part of our shmups.com Mythology and it must be preserved for future generations :D .
Also Ghetto Gradius deserves a repost.

Come on 8 1/2 help us out in case they can't recover the old forum's texts!
Do the best you have ever done ;) :)
