World Heroes, World Heroes 2, World Heroes Jet.

IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELLS YA!!!
Nah, it's actually 'World Heroes 2 Jet', so the equivalence is sorta lost.
Yeah. There's also no Raiden Fighters Perfect. :)

I find it odd how the only home version of WH2 Jet besides the NeoGeo and NeoGeo CD versions was the GB b/w version. Oddly enough, it was actually a decent port over, though not really the best game to pick for a home port.

Let's not talk about ports in thread about Raiden Fighters....Too painful.
I like WHP for Saturn. Never played the Neo version, but the controls are very responsive and if you get beat, there's no-one to blame.
I still wonder if Son of Goku is in the Saturn version. Is he in there? He's in the Neo versions.

How come that for some fighting and racing games I can hardly find any info? Like this game or the Fuun Saiki games or what about Taito's ps1 arcade race game Side by Side Special?

Heh, Son Goku is his name. Yes, he's immediately playable in the SS version (although you may as well wait for World Heroes Gorgeous if you don't already have the game).

Cheers circuitface :D
Make sure nvram writing is enabled in MAME as well. Wolf won't save an nv file as default, meaning you have to endure the bootup screen each and every time you start up, or you have to enable nvram writing via a DOS command prompt.

If he's using a version of MAME32 it should be enabled by default but i was just assuming he tested it before replying anyway.

We could debate over what we find interesting all day and neither of us would ever be right as it's a relative subject. My point was that some of us find things like that interesting and so the impolite reactions where uncalled for. /comprehension roadmap

Ok I have a question about the names like dash, dx jet and such. What do they mean? I'm thinking DX mean deluxe but what about Jet and Dash? I see them all the time with Japanese related titles.

Ah, I'm still using the wolf version that we used for replays during the STGT Icarus.

I was wondering why it hadn't saved (just went back to it today and got the countdown screen again). Can you not check a box in the menus of wolf to get it to save the nv?

Circuitface - Sorry, didn't actually test it

I thought this fell under the banner of "cool sounding English words that can be translated easily into katakana"?

I wasn't aware they meant anything in particular. They just sounded cool and were more snazzy than yet another number.

I think the dash are usually bug fixes.
SF Alpha 3 ' was a naomi version. Perhaps there were some things changed and balanced as well.
also V. 1.5 is used sometimes for this purpose

Nope, Wolf has been compiled to disable nvram writing on default, and can only be enabled via a DOS command prompt. I forget what the actual command switch is (-nvram enable or something), but it should tell you in MAME's regular help docs, and you can just write a quick batch command to load MAME and the game with nvram writing enabled within Textedit and save it out as a .bat file for easy usage.

For Specineff,

Answer to your question: The color "Blue"... ^_~

Or it's like asking the question: "Why ask why?" -- this particular question doesn't make any sense, does it? ^_~
